Don't forget about the "Fried Twinkie"

From Wikipedia -"A deep-fried Twinkie involves freezing the cake, dipping it into batter, and deep frying it to create a variation on the traditional snack cake. The deep-fried Twinkie was influenced by the deep-fried Mars bar, a variation of said chocolate bar, which was invented in Stonehaven, Scotland.
It was described by a The New York Times story in this way: "Something magical occurs when the pastry hits the hot oil. The creamy white vegetable shortening filling liquefies, impregnating the sponge cake with its luscious vanilla flavor... The cake itself softens and warms, nearly melting, contrasting with the crisp, deep-fried crust in a buttery and suave way. The piece de resistance, however, is a ruby-hued berry sauce, adding a tart sophistication to all that airy sugary goodness".[6]
The Texas State Fair had introduced the fried Twinkie to great popular acclaim, and the notion spread to other state fairs across the U.S., as well as some establishments that specialize in fried foods.[7] Fried Twinkies are sold throughout the U.S. in state fairs, as well as ball park games.."
I drove 200 miles to eat one once, it was worth it.

all yer fault!
bought 2 full boxes of twinkies.
i managed to get 1 from the first box. only reason i managed to get a second one was because i opened the second box while everyone else was asleep.
and i really did look into shipping some twinkies over - sorry mate yer on yer own for that one. i make decent at the club but would be cheaper if i just wired money over to buy them at that shop over there.
anyone else wanna pass the hat?

I had a science teacher in 7th grade who kept an unwrapped twinkie in a cupboard in his class and took a small bite out of it the 1st day of school every year to show that they are so full of preservatives they won't go bad. The twinkie was 7 years old the year I had the class, and I heard he had it for at least 4 more years after that before he finished it!

Anoyingly I found out Lucozade and Maltesers are banned in the USA by the FDA.
Yet 3 x worse food is on sale go figure :-)

Haha that is quite hilarious; while I'm no fan of GSK I'd imagine what's in Lucozade isn't quite as bad as that which is in a Twinkie.

Why wound Maltesers be banned... Honeycomb and milk chocolate!!!

I drank a ton of Lucozade while I was vacationing in Ireland. It can't be as bad as the energy drinks I get here!

God bless the FDA I guess, they seem to make some crazy choices.
I think they are sulking from the ban of the large retail sale of mountain dew in the UK
