So, I'm pretty new to all this technical stuff, so this may be a simple problem, but I'm stuck and would really appreciate some help!
I recently acquired Virtual DJ ans Hercules USB DJ Decks. I want to use this with headphones and speakers so I can mix properly.
I have installed a new Sound Card, which I have tested to make sure it works (when in iTunes I can listen to my music through both the speakers and my headphones).
When opening Virtual DJ I get the error message "Error in the sound driver of DirectX"
I can't play any music on the programme. Also, I followed the booklet instructions on how to setup the Headphones and when I go to change the settings in the configuration box, it also comes up with the same error message as before.
I have read various Help topics, and it has information about ASOI(?) and opening Virtual DJ without this, I am unsure what this means and how to do this...could something to do with this be the reason I am having problems?
Please can you help me with this so I can get it all working! :)

make sure you have the controllers hooked up first.....then open vdj if you still get this you need to change your sound card in vdj click setup go to mappers make sure it shows your controller.....if it does the go to sound setup then follow these instructions
