i jus bought vdj full only ...to find out that the pitch doesnt not respond as fast .. in 6.05 i never had this problem ...now in 6.08 the pitch soen not respond in sync with the turntable ... it not the connection... and its not the cables .because in 6.05 it works perfectly now is timply doesnt respond i have tried everything ... the signal is 100% but still pitch moves slowly

Hello,
Did you mean visual pitch on screen or pitch speed over the song?

yeah .......once you change the pitch on the turntable .. it takes a few seconds to respond

Hello Snug12,
Do you mean you use time-code vinyl discs? Please confirm.
If you mix with time-code vinyl discs, go to
- Config > Sound Setup > Input = timecode > Timecode config > Debug
- In the timecode Debug panel, look at the pitch sensitivity and set it as you want, and uncheck the Delayed box at the end of the line Pitch Sensitivity if you prefer an instant pitch fader display than gradual pitch fader moves.
If it doesn't change your issue, can you
- detail the configuration: audio interface, ASIO buffer size, drivers, operating system, turntable, turntable cell, timecode vinyl disc (Serato or VirtualDJ disc), timecode mode (absolute, relative, smart relative)
- precise your answer to ACW question: when you move the pitch fader on your turntable, do you actually HEAR the pitch is not updated immediately or do you SEE the pitch fader doesn't move immediately on VirtualDJ skin?

ok i have Serato vinyl CCV02
it is at 100%
sensitivity 1.2%
delayed off and the same thing happens
latency 88 samples
no matter what i put the latency to when i move the pitch slider on the turntable ... the slider in vdj moves about 3 seconds after

The on-screen slider shouldnt matter, when you move your slider on the turntables the sound responds right away, well atleast for me it does. From what I know its (the on screen slider) always gonna be delayed a little aways. Even when I used 6.05 I dont recall it being exactly the same. Is that even possiable?? And you said its only like 3sec...........mix with your ears not your eyes.

u seem to get me wrong ... i mean the pitch does not respond on time with key lock on ... when u change the pitch slider on the turntable the key should stay the same right?
well for those who said a 3 second delay is ok ...(EEEHHHHH wrong answer) it is not with 6.05 i never had this problem
now i would be mixing and changing the pitch with key lock on ...then the key of the track changes indicating that i have changed the pitch slider on the turntable. then a few seconds later the system responds i.e. a few seconds later i will see the pitch move in 6.08 and the key will then change to the original position. so theoretically what is happening is that vdj interprets me changing the pitch as a pitch bend first. then when it realizes that it is not an actual pitch bend it responds by try to move to the right pitch. no i don't have the delay function in the in the debug option checked and i have check all my connections .. and my latency comprehension is 88 samples almost 1ms and i have not had this problem with 6.05
i am using the ESI U46dj as my interface

I see what your saying now and that is not how you first explained it. If it was just the screen and not the sound a 3sec delay wouldnt matter cause it would have no effect on the sound but now that you have explained it, I cant say I have ever had that problem so sorry I cant help you.
