Would you mind to give us a little more info about your setup? Like for instance what kind of hardware you have (asides hc4500) and how you have it's connected?

damn my bad,

HP Pavilion Laptop DV7-1285dx
NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT with 512MB dedicated
6 Gigs of Ram
Virtual DJ Ver. 6.0.8 (just downloaded new version)
Denon X500
Denon HC4500 connected through USB

and windows vista 64 bit

i'm assuming other plugins are working so that means you have directx 9 installed, then maybes you haven't gone through the set up process for the sonique files, so a bit of a refresher for you just in case...

or the if you can't follow that...

Go into config > choose video tab > go down to the bottom right drop down window and select sonique, to the left make sure you tick the box, come out of config and select effects > select video tab > select sonique > select/click on activate > select open > this is where you go to where you have your sonique folder, now open the folder and double click on a file, this will now run your sonique effects. you can now play with the two sliders for the type of effect you want. slide show delay will give you how long each effect will run for and the transparency will let you fade the soniques over other effects like a video, show logo etc...

N.B If you have the time go through your individual soniques and delete the crappy ones, saves getting them up on the screen.

hope it helps.

thanks tay...that got me going there...i was going nuts...lol...btw,

anyone have any thought on my volume control...

whenever i turn up my volume controls on my x500 (i have the comp set up on 3 & 4) it starts to play the file...i want that to stop...many thanks again everyone :)

Robby

no probs, glad i could help, sorry can't help with the denon though.

For your DENON: Disable fader start by DISCONNECTING the small black mini jack cables from your mixer or your controller

Hi... now it's me going nuts I think...

In the video it showed that under the Video Effects folder there was a Sonique folder with many .svp files... well all I see in my Video Effects folder are two Sonique files - one is an .ini and one is a .dll - I can't see any .svp files?

I'm using Cue 6 so is it different to VirtualDJ perhaps?
