Topic: Virtual DJ not reading Timecoded Vinyls

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

Hi, I'm running the trial version of the software and it is not even recognizing the timecoded vinyls. My setup is as follows.

Technics 1210 M3Ds -> American Audio VersaPort Inputs -> Macbook Pro (Duo core processor 2Gigs ram) -> American Audio VersaPort Outputs -> Pioneer DJM400 -> PA.

Alright. Everything connected properly, all cables tested and working. Virtual DJ is not reading my timecoded vinyls (Serato Blue control vinyls) at all. Keeps saying "Silence" on the config no matter what I do. Interestingly, if I load a track on either deck in virtual DJ and drag the record on the program, sound comes out into my mixer and into my PA and headphones. But it will not play or read the vinyls. So the soundcard MUST be working if sound is making its way out of the laptop through USB and into my mixer, and the cables to the soundcard are definitely working... I'm going buck nutty here trying to get this setup thinking I wasted all this money on the soundcard / timecoded vinyl. I've even opened up my system preferences and upped the input volume coming from the versaport. I'm stuck and frustrated!

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think the trial version won't allow you to use timecodes.

@joelap,

Is this on the latest trial for mac version?

@dizzy,

Trial user can get to trial the timescodes option but only for limited time. This is to give new user the chance to try it first.

I'm not sure. When I hit "Debug" I get the option for all different types of timecoded vinyls and there are three knobs at the bottom. Most of the info on how to debug I've read so far seems to be describing a different screen than I am seeing.

I'm having the same issues. I can't get my control vinyl to control the music. I've got the pro version of 7
