Hello all. I am new to the karaoke side of virtual Dj and have some questions.
Is virtual Dj capable of looking/searching deep into multiple folders? Such as a folder, within a folder, within a folder, within a folder that has the files. If so, would it be faster for vdj, if I dragged and dropped the files so they were only 1 folder deep? (hope that makes sense)
If vdj does not see a song but I know its there, does it need to be extracted from the zip file for vdj to see it?
This doesn't pertain to vdj but does anyone know if I can extract the song information from a zip file to create a karaoke book? Or can someone tell me the best way to go about doing this? I bought a huge collection from a Dj and he had a few books but he has massive duplications from the discs plus there is a huge amount of songs in certain genres, languages etc that I just don't need or want.
Many thanks for your help.

Virtual DJ will go deep into folders, just right click on the folder and select recurse, that will then go deep into the folders and add all the files to the database

Could be the reason, sometimes zip files can get corrupted, but try navigating to the file via the folders first to see if it picks it up, if not, try extracting it

Use a song list creator, I use this one: http://www.airwer.com/
Enjoy :)
