could you please try to fix the keylock in a future update?
maybe change the algo that you're using...
it works somewhat fine without keylock... just sometimes i would like to use it...
tested on onboard soundcard, audio2dj and m-audio firewire 410... - always get crackles...

If your getting "crackles" it means your trying to run a latency your computer can't handle.

Indeed, the keylock is actually very good within a practicle pitch range as long as you are setup correctly.

the pitch range is never above 5 bpm - usually 2-4bpm
my laptop is dual 2.8 gig with 4 gigs of ram
when running ableton, i can have a massive amount of tracks with huge audio bpm differences and many eqs, comps, fx etc..
i dont think that my laptop is too slow, or that my maudiofw410 cant handle 256 samples...

edit: alternatively, how about a *master tempo* setting... - say you set the master tempo to 128 - all tracks in the playlist will display the numeric key value of the tracks if they would be pitched up or down to the 128bpm value...? ;) =)

I am sure your computer is awsome, so is mine. Moral of the story, mine needed tweaking and your probably does too. Hippy Dog and SBDJ gave great advice, I would give it a shot first.
Unchecking Over clock and safe mode did it for me.
Also check to see if you wireless card is on. If it is, try recreating your problem with it off.
