Ok, so I just got everything to work on a win7 64 bit os, and now I want to have my keyboard shortcuts the same as my 5.2.1 setup, but for some reason its WAY harder in v6, so i'm hoping someone can help me here...
------Video-------
I mapped my "Left Arrow", and "Right Arrow" to the video's deck that I wanted to be showing through the video out to the audience, bypassing the transitions if i wanted to, and just switching the video. In 5.2.1, it was easy, I just gave the video crossfade a value everytime i would push either arrow, and it worked flawlessly, but in v6 its like i can't figure out what the program wants you to do to assign this sort of shortcut, now it wants a commandline or something. I'm confused.
------Cloning------
I loved the clone feature in 5.2, i could do a whole party with just one turntable (Since I favor the right turntable when I scratch, it was cool for me) anyways, for some reason I can't get the cloning feature to work like i did in 5.2.1, and i really need this feature back. I had it like this:
Space Bar----> Take what ever song/video is playing on the RIGHT deck from the current position, and clone it on the LEFT deck
Enter Key----> Take what ever song/video is playing on the LEFT deck from the current position, and clone it on the RIGHT deck
A little help here would be great, i want to do a dry run of my big gig tomorrow night (Biggest gig by far that i've had!) and really want to rock the house! I need to know these keyboard shortcuts, so any help would be great!

Through some careful reading, and coding, i had figure'd it out.
For future reference for anybody looking to do these shortcuts in VDJ v6, heres what I did:
To make the LEFT/RIGHT keys be like video selectors (which I prefer when scratching) the code was as follows:
The Key - "RIGHT" and the code was (video_crossfader 100%)
The Key - "LEFT" and the code was (video_crossfader -100%)
To "CLONE" the proper deck FROM AND TO which deck you'd like, here is the shortcuts (Note, I'm just tuned to these 2 keys, you pick which ever keys you want, they are just the biggest keys on MY keyboard, so they are easier to hit which is why I picekd them)
The Key - "SPACE" and the code was (deck 2 clone_deck 1)
The Key - "RETURN" and the code was (deck 1 clone_deck 2)
This is awesome for beat juggling, or if you only have one turntable, i like the versatility of this effect, because now I can push which ever video or song is playing to the turntable, AND with the combination of the video selector, it makes for a good video scratching setup.
Hope someone gets use out of this

migration onto a new new version or platform is never easy..
if your gonna move to a new OS its nice to install the new os on a new hard drive (that way if you ever have problems you can always slot in the old install to compare performance of the new version with the new one.
upgrading willl take you a long while to get used yourself back on track. you just need more time to sweet talk the program and customize it the way you want...
i use serato and slowly courting it.
