Hey everyone,

i just had my first show with my ns7. It was a small 50th birthday party. I usually dont do these type of events, but this was my oppurtunity to test this thing live before the wedding season. The show was completely flawless. I did use Itch as i needed mic support, and might concider trying it fully in vdj once im convinced it works properly. All the times ive tried in vdj i didnt have issues, but it dosent feel as solid as itch. This is one solid machine i gotta say. Big up to numark for making this. I felt so comfortable with it. Itch is ok, but it does work and thats whats important. VDJ thought is more user friendly and eye catching in terms of fonts and just how it looks.

Itch is plain but it rocks. it performs very good

i have some video gigs coming up. im going to be using my icdx' for that. im not convinced of vdj with the ns7.
maybe once the mic gets fixed ill re test it. for now il ljust stick to itch for pure audio shows.
 
my ns7 should be here next week, I'll see about the mic then.
 
Nice Cyder.... For the past few weeks, I have been thinking about getting one. I want to get rid of my Vci 300 first. Compact is nice but i want to be comfortable.
 
I think I'll hold on to my vci for a little while I still like djing on it and sometimes I can see the ns7 not being practical in some situations.
 
I love my new NS7. Just wish it would work with 6.0.7 but I am sure that VDJ will come out with a fix for the pitch shifting issue soon.

I like they way it looks in your case in those pics. I am gonna have to get a road case now. Thanks alot. lol

Only hardware that includes a bundled version of VirtualDJ (I.e: Hercules DJ Consoles) can be added. This is done automatically when registering the serial number of VirtualDJ LE/Console Edition to your profile.

Hardware that is not bundled with VirtualDJ such as the NS7 cannot be added.
 
Sweet setup. Glad to hear the NS7 worked out for you. The more and more I see people using the set, the more and more tempted I become to picking one up.
 


tried to make your photo a little better but there is so much noise in the shot this was the best I could do.
 
i need a new cam man... i know.

but it wasent that dark in person. i was able to see pretty good. the pics look dark.

Oddyessy makes a case for the NS7 and its about $50 more than the one from numark. I just don't know how well it fits with the FX add on.
 
 
Nice man, thats good news. I've just always used Oddeyssey before and had good luck with the cases, so figured I'd make a suggestion, but I don't own the NS7 nor the case yet, but hopefully that'll change soon :)
 
Well it came today



I'm using the Marathon all black case in this one (it was free with the purchase of an NS7 at six star)
 
What made you decide to buy the NS-7 .... just curious ..... is the Numark mixdeck not similar but can use ipod and CD as well?

From reading the forum I believe there is still an issue with mic compatibility and the latest update has screwed something?

It looks a serious piece of kit though but large .... would never fit in the DJ box in the club I work in :(
