here you go

Thanks, But how would I hook up the other PC with the Hercules mk2 to it. The mixer I have is a 2 channel Numark M2.

looks like your going to have to get a 4 channel i'm afraid, or do a bit juggling with the cables, just put in master 1+2 from the rmx and i suppose the master out from the mk2.

Your wiring is correct, you need to put the Output to "External Mixer" mode (@Tayla you need to update your diagram to show this..).

That will redirect the channels as you hve them wired.

You will however then have to do your queung and mixing from the Numark mixer and not the RMX.

Also remember to disable the RMX crossfader.

Cheers,

Roy

You don't necessarily need a 4 channel mixer - at least if you don't plan to use both Hercules devices at the same time. Most 2 channel mixers have dual inputs for both channels. Usually it's "Phone or Line" but some mixers have the option to choose "Phone/Line1 or Line2".

If you tell the exact model of your Numark mixer, I'll be able to tell for sure.

the M2 numark has 4 line inputs (switchable on each channel) or 2 line & 2 phono..

nope roy that is correct the way i want my set up.

I'm confused Tayla... If you connect the RMX to two channels on your mixer, surely you want outputs 1&2 to go to 1 channel and 3&4 to go to the other.

How does "headphone" solve that...?

Roy

i use the headphone on the ext mixer, i work four channels.

i didn't realise the guy only had 2 channels.
