Topic: Timecode Vinyl High Pitch Sound Coming from Speakers

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

Hi Guys,

Can someone help me find the discussion post for how to troubleshoot Timecode Vinyl? I know there were discussion post about it but I can't find any specific ones that has a solution remove the high pitch sounds from the speakers. I'm not sure if that is something that can be removed or not. I have a gig on Saturday and I want to utilize the timecode vinyls

Make sure you're not monitoring the input channels for the timecode. For example if using a Maya44 there is an option in it's control panel for it. What soundcard are you using?

I'm running off the Hercules RMX sound card. Also I'm using Virtual DJ on MAC OS (Snow Leopard) just to give specifics.

I forgot to leave out that I use Serato Timecode Vinyls Version 2.

I suspect it is a channel monitoring issue, but unfortunately I don't have the RMX and I dont use Mac. I'm sure someone else will be along to help though :)

Does anyone have a Hercules RMX and runs serato timecode vinyls on a MAC OS? I'm trying to figure out how to remove high pitch sound coming out of the speakers.

sounds like u need to change ur phono/stereo settings, the high pitched tone is the timecode signal. u would here that if u have it in the thru settings.

Try your source 1 and 2 button on the RMX.
