i have demo'd virtual dj and am impressed by it's functionality, but am unable to set up my souncard to my external mixer. before i purchase the software i would like to know if it'll give me my left and right channel of my mixer with my maya 44 MKII card, as this is an essential reqyuirement for me. thanks

I am a new user and purchased the Maya44 to use with my laptop and it works just fine. I have two channels being used for each turntable on VDJ. My mixer is an eight channel mixer and so to use both turntables I am using 4 of my 8 channels for VDJ. The software works well with my Maya44 but am not sure about the MKII.
I did my first live gig with only my laptop and VDJ and my Maya44 two weeks ago and they worked fine.

in demo version you are not able to select more than one output, so both decks play from one output, and you have no prelisten function (you cannot hear something else in headphone output)
