hello im trying to video mix but its just not working i have a Numark X6 DJ Mixer and it freezez up when i try to mix also. is this because my mixer is not mdi.
do i need to by an mdi mixer? what are my options?

mixer should have no effect on the ability mix video.
video DOES take a lot more resources though and is heavily dependant on the video card.

its just that when i mix it all ways shows both videos. the crossfader does not move. is this becuase i dont have a mdi mixer. or is there some thing im doing worng

What version of VDJ are you using?
and is it the stock skin?
and are you using just the keyboard and mouse? (with an external mixer) or is their a controller involved too?

as a side note, as a professional user you should take some time one day, and fill out your profile..
for newbies it helps if you post your equipment and setup list, and computer specs.. (then when you ask questions we dont have to ask so many questions back! :-) )
