is it possible to use both TC vynal and a controller at the same time?

But remember that you need a professional version to use timecode.

so true, but i have the means to use TC and i still have a pro trial to use up...soooo,,,, how would i set this up?i know how to set up the TC im just wondering how to setup the herc to just be an FX unit.
