Does anyone know of a website where i can find transition effects?

i dont care if i have to buy them - i just dont want to create them myself

i'm looking for a "whoosh" type of effect

i'm not finding anything online

i think ive asked this question around here before and didnt get a response. is this like a well kept secret in the dj community or something? lol

have you tried all the transitions in the video effects transition section.
 
i was actually looking for audio transition effects
 
He was talking about audio transitions not video transitions ;)

If people have ideas and wants for video transitions then post them up. I can't do anything with nothing ;)

well, the "woooosh" would be nic, as would one that sounds like a plane flying overhead
 
I only offered for video transitions... the effects you are talking about seem to be simply a case of playing a sample.
 
Saw a couple of cool ones where a hand comes in and tears off a page leaving the next layer, and another one where a hand comes in and balls up the image like scrap paper leaving the image behind.
Promo Only has some cool ones in their mixed sets also for ideas.

but uhh, i guess...oh never mind...
 
i would like to see somebody come up with the batman spinning logo transition (video is spinning inside the batman logo
while the logo grows and video changes and then logo shrinks) that would be ''the bees knees'' for me.
 
I quite like the Serato SL Cube transition. Basically it turns the video into a bunch of small cubes that collapse and then fades in the next video.

Wow your thread got hijacked quick! I don't know of any places other than this site to get effects from, but you might be able to get the 'whoosh' sound you're looking for by tweaking the parameters of the flanger effect (wide sweep, max depth) and running a filter effect on the track that you're bringing in?
 
Well for audio effects google "VST effects". You'll find a ton of them, some work some dont.
