Topic: recording mpeg4 videos

can anybody shed some light on this matter ive tryed 2 record a set but it says error cant find codec for mpeg4? has anybody else had this problem ive got version 6 pro does everybody have this problem or has this been sorted in later versions im running the software on sony vaio laptop (vista) every thing else works fine just this slight glitch

what version are you using?
IE: 6.x ... whats the 'x' ?
 
just the original 6.0 pro which should i up grade 2

i'm assuming then your running a cracked version?

If so, your probably fragged no matter what you do.. each cracked version has their own weird issues..
 
no its brought & payed 4 ive just up dated it 2 version 6.6 hopefully the bugs are fixed now
 
ive seen alot of people with the same issues with newer versions aswell so its down 2 the software surely
 
ps ive downloaded xvid for this installed it went 2 main config typed xvid with video decoder in the box next 2 it then went to record config & typed in xvid as the codec it started recording then freezes up compleatly with white screen luckly a box pops up 2 close down vdj i just need a solution that works im thinking of getting adobe premiere pro 2 do my video mixing its gonna cost $700 usd just pi$$ed off that im having to fork out more money but i,ll get better results

I'm curious (please forgive me), but how did you update to the newest version even though your username shows up as a non-licensed user?
