This is a great community case in point....
Got an Akai LPD8 and I was having trouble configuring it but with the help of Slimfams its all good now. Now I have one of the best ways to control VDJ ... Numark NS7 + Akai LPD8

i second that. downloaded his mapping and with some fiddling, got everything just how i wanted it. thanks!!!!!
