has anyone ever tried to create a pair of cross breed turntables???
i have 2 sets of tt's one set gemini and one set sound lab... ive been playing around with ideas of breeding them and making an all new deck.. the idea is to get the super fast start and direct drive of the sound lan integrated with the straight tone arm and the onboard phono sockets of the geminis.
i reackon with the tracking of a straight tone arm and the start up speed and features of the soundlabs i would gain a pretty sweet TT..
just an idea seeing as i like to mess around with electronic gizmo's ... im sure i could make a sweet job of it.. a quick respray of the casing and i could be onto something.
