Here is my dilema i have 2 Denon s3700's and i use it with my hercules Rmx also use the Rmx soundcard because this allows me to switch from midi to cd to usb with no problem. My question is i wanna get the best sound possible and would like to use the NI Audio 4 sound card with my set up and use the Rmx just to control the interface.
1) Will this be a good Idea?
2) Will the audio 4 sound muche better than my Rmx or s3700 sound cards?
3) Will this use to much resources?

NI Audio 4 sound better than RMX sound card. I don't know how better it could or not be than denon 3700. The best sound I get is using an Echo AudioFire 4 as my sound card interface and leaving HC-4500, Hercules DJConsole RMX and other midi devices using them just as MIDI only and not for audio output.
NI Audio 4 is good, but it dynamic range is less than 108db while Echo AudioFire is 114db. Is a difference you can heard.
