Topic: filter folder question

Merry Christmas guys & gals (if you celebrate) . i'm a hip hop /r&b / old school dj and i live by my filter folders.
helps me locate everything lightning fast without searching. my problem is i just did a country style wedding reception
last night .(whitch i do from time to time) and my ''recently played'' filter folder is covered with country songs that
i won't need for the next 2 months. they are in the way. is there a way to delete just the country songs (that i select)
or what will happen if i delete that day in my history folder.

yes i have searched the forums.

yes. delete those specific history files. It will work. Your Filter Folder has a filter like "Top ?? lastplay"..right??
 
steel, i was just about to create a filter topic but ran into yours, so if you dont mind i wanna piggyback, my question releates, i have filters created for \"genre contains\", now it will return majority of my genre, but i have noticed that if i type in the name of an artist i miss a lot of those songs from just that artist..so i did a test with other artist under this and its happening can anybody tell me whats going on?

i did go thru the actual folder and the genre is loaded for what i have set for the filter,
but when i go to the file info screen in vdj the info is blank which will cause it i guess not to find it thru the filter, how do i fix this.

do you mean that you create a Filter Folder with filter like ...artist contains Madonna and you dont get all the madonna's files?

as for me, im not doing an artist filter..im doing a genre filter, in either case i can do a artist filter and it still wont bring back x artist due to the fact that what i posted above in the vdj file folder doesnt load the info thats actually loaded in the c:/ drive
