Help! Live gig and after upgrading I'm stuttering every video and wav in my library!

Xp sp3...anyone have an ideal setup?

1) Apply the changes explained in this guide:

http://ts.hercules.com/faqs/eng/her_eng_00364.pdf


2) In the Rmx Control Panel, switch to ASIO audio mode, and in the ASIO tab, configure as follow:

- 44 Khz

- 16 bits

- 480 (10 ms)



3) Launch VDJ (You will probably have an ERROR IN THE SOUND DRIVER message if you were not set to use ASIO before, but this normal.

For Sound Setup, configure as follow:

- Input : None

- Output(s): Headphone

-Soundcard: DJ Console XXX,

then check the box APPLY EQ ON EXTERNAL SOURCES, then click APPLY.

Use VDJ for a while and see if you still get problem. If needed, raise or lower the ASIO Buffer Size until you find the correct setting for your computer (this needs to be done when VDJ is NOT RUNNING)
 
I just had my first gig this past weekend and I had the same problem. I had to go to my backup laptop and the Maya44 sound card with no controller, just using the mouse touch pad. It was a small Christmas party and all went well with the backup. I'll try the suggested modifications and see what happens with my Hercules Rmx.
 
Update: Tried most of the modifications and the performance got worst; it not only stuttered but started to drag. Don't know what else to do but send it back.
