Topic: Keep existing mapping on new installation.

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

Hi all, I've installed Windows 7 on a seperate partition of my hard-drive to test before I upgrade from Vista.
How can I transfer my customised mappings over to the new installation? I copied & pasted the HC4500 mapping XML file from my documents/virtual DJ/Mappers to the corresponding location on the Windows 7 install but this hasn't worked.
Any help please?

If it is from an earlier version of v6, then this may be due to the changes that have taken place to the definition of the controller since then (Particularly to support the new firmware and to resolve a lag issue with the jogwheels.)

It might be a good idea to revert to the factory settings in v6.0.3 and then re-apply your custom mappings to this (Open your custom map in notepad, etc. and then go through each mapping, modifying the v6.0.3 map appropriately.)

NOTE: You should be using touchwheel/touchwheel_touch for the jogwheels for them to work properly.)

Thanks for your help on both posts. I'm going to go and have a play with the Windows 7 install now.
Thanks
