hi, i don't remember which post was which some guys recommended a ripper SW for mac. which one u recommend in order to rip videos and movies?

What settings do you use to get the best quality?
 
This is my first forum post. I've had the pro 6 version for about 6 months now. But I'm having a hard time figuring out the ripping utility in the SW package.

How do I use the Virtual DJ "Rip DVD" utility to rip to other formats? I see Divx and Mpeg as options but they are greyed out. Do I need an encoder as when I added lame_enc.dll to c:\windows\system32 directory for mp3 recording? If so, where do I put the video encoder? How do I install it into the VDJ to enable the Divx and Mpeg options?

And do you have any recommendations for good Divx or Mpeg encoders for the PC?
 
Im having the same problem all options are grayed and can't use them another issue i got is that is ripping 2 incomplete half videos into 1
