Topic: Disable hercules remix soundcard?

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

Hey guys got a really important question hopefully one of you can help. I got a last minute gig tonight at a pretty big venue and unfortunately my hardware (hercules RMX) started acting up today. My soundcard cuts off about 10 mins into something so what I did as a work around is i connected a djio for sound and just used the RMX for midi controls. I am going to run my RCA outs into the ran mixer from the djio and just use the rane as a mixer but the controls on the rmx. Has anyone ever done something like this? Is there a way I can just disable all of the volume controls on the hercules so I dont have all that extra gain going in? I would rather have my left deck/right decker/master all the way up and my gain knobs set in the middle and than just control all of the sound from the rane mixer. Any tips here would be appreciated guys thanks in advance

Go into the sound config to select the DJ i/o. In the Preferences tab is a gain option. I would set it to always at Zero. See if that works. Also, if you using the latest drivers from Numark for the DJ i/o you are going to have to use the headphone jack on the DJ i/o for pre-veiwing the next track.

but my issue is can i control the gain fluctuations on the start up of each loaded song...i was using gain remember and that wasnt helping cuz sometimes songs are still lower or higher per deck...what can i do to make each loaded song start at the same level each time

Set it to Auto+Remember that way it takes it to 0 then any changes you make will be stored as well.
