Hello. I'm new to this software, and have a few questions about the software. First I would like to know how to empty the deck from a file that's in the deck? And also is there any "Crossfade" adjustment?

Hi Dodie,
Some skins have an unload button, not sure if the default one does.
Have a look in the skin section for Vmix5.4, it definitely has an unload button on the third player window from the right. The skin is 1280 x 800 but I'm not sure if it will work fully with vdj 6 as i was developed for 5.2

On second thoughts, why would you need to unload a deck anyway unless you were seriously short of RAM. I think most of us just replace the track on the deck without unloading the other one first?

If the skin you're using doesn't have an unload button, you can always right-click on the pause button for >2 seconds to unload it.
Check Config/Options - there's a Crossfader setting there that changes it's curve.
