Soo im bout to get my first beginner tables, i was looing and i see numark is coming out with a battle pak but i read threads where others have it so is this gone be like another gen of this battle pak, and if so is this a good starter set...i kno the techs are the ulitmate but hip to a starter thanks...

That would be a nice starter pack to go for.
It could also be used for Timecode if you purchased Virtual Vinyl or another audio interface.

If you are a scratching dj, consider the TT-500's ...
Not sure if Numark has a package with them...
You need a lot of torque for good scratch decks

thanks,, but i ended up getting stanton t52 belt drives...which looks as i may be upping to the t92 dont want to go into technics just yet but i do want something worh my money...

You need direct drive..
If you are doing no scratching, and just pure beat matching, belt drives are ok, but I would still recommend you to go for direct drive

you should of gone with the techincs or the TTX's straight off the bat......
ur only gonna slow the procuess of learning down by doing so....
the mixer on the other hand in not to much of a concern....
just so long as it has the basic's.....
i would upgrade to ether one of these's turntables then the one ur looking at...
