I want to post my recordings on my website. My question: What are the legal loopholes?

I.E.

Do i need licenses, royalty issues, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i think you can do it as long as u dont sell em or make money off it..lol...mixtape i guess.lol..and and jus to be sure,,jus put the tracklist..
 
i tired to find the exact link but couldnt but if u check www.djtutor.com ellaskins has some vids about this,make sure u say somethign along the lines of " this is for demonstarions of mixing skills,all copyrights belong to original copyright owner etc."
 
Thanks for the advice. The lessons on www.djtutor.com are pretty awesome. I havent yet found any information on the "mixtape" thing yet. But a lot of good information indeed.

Being as that im a little lost, anyone else have any advice?
