Hope he gets the million also (for the organisation!). Good cause, funding an organisation (Lance Armstrong Organisation) that's doing a lot of good stuff (from what I can tell).

no, not a promotion, but a worthwhile way of using something that's trendy (like twitter, facebook, etc.) to help out a cause that doesn't involve a whole lot of effort. taking a whole couple of seconds to click "follow" on the twitter website to help like that? consider how many organizations have to constantly beg and plead for funding to help others, and one man who has the means to actually help by writing one check will do it if a million people take the time to make one quick on twitter.

its taking something trendy and actually making it work for something good.

wasnt meant to be disparaging with the title. i think its a good thing, and so do 96,524 people as of 5am this morning.
