What could I be missing. The drivers were installed for the Dac2. Is there anything else I need to do. This is using 6.01.

Could be the DAC2 or usb > com port.
I had one on COM11 and VDJ did not see it. Another of mine was COM5 and VDJ was able to use.
Check the device manager and see what COM port it is using.
Also, are you using XP or VI$TA?
