Fault
This is something that i have always struggled with, is getting my mk2 to work as an external sound card. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Just the whole switching from WDM to ASIO and visa versa always messes it up. I know it needs to be in WDM mode, but how do i get it to work so i can listen to itunes and such, or play a video game, using my mk2?

Please precise what is your problem, since I don't see what you struggled with.
1) If you want to use the Mk2 with any multimedia software (iTunes, Media Player, Internet Explorer, video games, ....), you must set your Mk2 in WDM prior to running the multimedia software.
2) If you want to use the Mk2 in VirtualDJ Pro, you should set the Mk2 in ASIO and check the box "Apply EQ on external inputs".
