Topic: Put this clip together for my clipbank.........

.....been doing clips like this for a while, however, after putting it on my website I decided to put sound to it. It has took over my life for the past few days trying to get it just right. More can be done, but, I'm happy with this for now. Comments, suggestions welcome as long as they're not too rude lol;

That is really good...gives me a lil inspiration :)

Last night I started using a slideshow promoting other nights at the bar I work at in the beginnning of the week. Basically I used it whenever I played just an mp3 via the "use this plugin for audio only files" option in config>video. Got alot of great responses and I'm looking forward to improve on it and expand that project for every bar I work at. Thanks for sharing that!

I'd love to see some of the guys on here share what they have done too. Gives us all ideas to take the extra mile.

Mine is relatively easy to maintain as the flyers were photographed on my cellphone, tidied up in Photoshop and slung together in Sony Vegas. It will be easy to replace expired flyers with new ones and the background can be easily changed. I intend doing this each month for this venue. You can probably do something similar in the Windows Movie Maker (except the fancy text graphics).

Anyone sharing???

i was kidding mate.... lol, ok don't know if it will help you guys but i did these first two clips nearly two years ago they are almost identical except for there endings one was for cyder and the other was for rick (amahm) and i think it's the most enjoyable vid i've done...



now this one is ricks version but i lost the original with his name so you miss out on that bit, lol, but you can see the total difference in the endings...



if anyone wants their name added to this clip let me know.

and finally... did this one back in feb for my mate

I think your video is pretty good, it looks like the kind of think that could be played during the day advertising evening events etc.

If you were to play this during your DJ set I'd suggest increasing the playback speed, for me the flow is a bit too slow.

Too slow is boring, too fast and it's not readable, either extreme is annoying to watch.

That's the difficulty, trying to strike the right balance. It was meant to be played from the clipbank (vision only) when the occasional audio track is played. I added it to my website and thought it needed some sound. It was spread out a little to tie in to various points in the music. Gotta say this is my first ever attempt to synchronise sound and vision together. Quite pleased with it, thanks for the suggestion.
 

It may have helped if I watched it with the sound, although I always find it's better to judge a video presentation without sound.

If it stands up well when muted, imagine how good it will 'appear' with a cool soundtrack.
