I understand your debacle. For what my words are worth it works. I don't work for VDJ and did my part soley for the desire to make two cool things work together. If you can convince the VDJ guys to help you out that would be the best course of action, but it is their cal, and they have very valid concerns about guys pirating software and trying to reap benefits the rest of us pay for. But read the threads in the forums; all these guys are users and none of them are afraid to voice their opinion, good or bad. Good luck.

My mapper never took the SCS.3m in to consideration. My xml files only work if you are using Darouter and allow for up to two controllers. what DaRouter does is resend a different midi signal based on which device is sending it, thus taking care of the issues of different device giving the same signal. Once I have an SCS.3m I'll add it to the map, but if someone else wants to do it it's pretty easy and I'm happy to offer my advice. You will have to understand how midi keys work and understand midi out/in.

I hope to have something in the next week that will provide 100% support for the units ... I might first release the 3d files first as those are almost done ... with the 3m following there after ....

100% Support means that you will not use the DaRouter ... it will be direct access to the units from VirtualDJ - like it should be.

I'm excited about that... OT, but I'm going to DJ with my definition for the MixMeister Control this weekend, and after I'm confident that I got everything correct, I'll be submitting it to VDJ, so hopefully we can see built-in support for this controller as well in a subsequent version.

grrr... CAN SOMEONE MAKE VIDEO OF HOW TO/ULPOAD SET UP SCS 3d with vdj 6, i found a preset for 5 that works , but only for 20 mins. :(
somone upload a file or torrent the mappers :S
on vdj 6 on mappers and on not connected - there is dascratch, but even with mine plugged in it doesnt appear connected to vdj6.
darouter has presets but i have no effect on the 6 what are u guys using ?
please help !

One thing i'd like to throw in... has any else come across the application crash whe you tap the eq mode button?
Mine bombs the application out. No Crash guard, just the winows "Encountered an error, report to Microsoft" message box. every time i tap the eq mode buton.
I don't think its a VDJ configuration, think there may be conflict between midi signals!!!! Could do with a fix!
Any response would be useful.

Wow, the functionality in that vid is impressive! I'd never even considered that that the DaScratch might be programmed like that until watching that vid. Then I realized that it's simply a MIDI controller and basically, someone who knows what they're doing can set it to do lots of things.

How is the progress? if it's still gonna be a while I was going to start tinkering with making an xml that works directly with the Stanton's to do some of what I saw in the MIXX video. some are complete overkill, but the spinning LED's and a few other bells and whistles would be cool, as well as multiple vinyl modes and massive hot cues. Was thinking af making an autoscratch mode (where it automatically cuts the back scratch for you) as well as a few other things.

is it possible to have the wheel work as a spinning record would,if i put my finger at a point on the pad it would hold the music,like stopping the record there till i let go?

currently no, but speaking to Stnaton it is supported. It is on my list to make happen. Scratching is pretty useless if you can't press and hold.

LOL -- I posted that on Thursday evening -- I am a working DJ as well as a day-job -- and it's only Monday!!! But progress is well.
As for the question about touch sensitivity - Yes, that is possible.
As for the lights - Yes, also.
Hope to have something this week for the 3d -- still 5 days left the last I checked -- LOL!!!!!
