Topic: powered usb

guys just got a 4 channel powered macally usb hub.just wanted to know will i use the port i normally use for my rmx or does it make any difference.also never used a hub before is there any drivers or tips i need to know thanks

Nope it does matter because what port you plug in your RMX that is the port you should always plug it into. If you plug your RMX into another port your computer will see it as a new device again. Also I would not use a usb hub for the RMX. It should go stright into your computer as it draws power from it. Even tough your hub is powered it still will cause you problems.

thanks guys.so for hds screen extension ect the hub is ok just make sure i use same port for rmx

No prob glad to help!!

Just make sure you plug that RMX into your computer / Laptop and you should be good to go!

i use a 7 port powered hub and hook up everything to it controller, hdd, mpd32 and used to hook up the djio soundcard too...never had a problem...i never kept track of the ports i would plug each device it would always be random. i just made sure everything would be plugged before starting up the computer.
