you can use CDJ 1000 MK3 only hooking a sound card up to your computer for timecode.

I had the CDJ 1000mk3's and i was using it with the serato SL1 sound card. The M-Audio Connectiv works great too. You can Buy the Serato Sound card used on craigslist for 300 buck and the M-Audio for 250 new at stores..
