I have been working with 6.02 and it has been a mess. I had 5.2 pro working perfectly. My problem is now everything is skipping every 5 - 10 seconds. the music will jump and the cursor will jump. How can I fix this?

No, It is skipping in Windows Media also. It is a windows XP issue somewhere...

I got the skipping to stop, but I can't figure out what is running even after I have every possible program off. The CPU bar is showing bursts of some activity.

I think you are having problems with your latency. There was a program on some thread that I saw, i think it was called DPI Latency checker? it shows how much latency your comptuer can handle. Try searching latency checker in one of the forums.

How much RAM have you got in your pc?
