Just thought I would open the debate....OK GO!!!!!!

Intel all the way, have used AMD in the past and it does not hold a candle to Intel.
 
When it comes to either Intel or AMD. There is a slight difference in performance and a big difference in price. I Have and Dell Inspiron 1501 with a AMD Turion Processor 64 X 2 2.0 ghz with 2 gigs of ram. This laptop is way more than enough for audio DJ ying.. I never had an issue with performance and no freezing.
 
Chevy or Ford?
Pc or Mac?
Intell or AMD?
CD's or Vinyl?
Carbourated or Fuel Injected?
Natural or Silicone?
Bias Ply or Radial?


Who cares? - chose a system that does what you want it to do.
 
Booth Intel & AMD are good. I only bought the AMD because its cheaper in price..
 
Intel Rulz on performance.... but Amd Rulz on price... ;-)

I would definitley go for the new fuel injected chevy camaro with an intel pc and a cd player, and who cares if they are natural or silicone as long as they are big radials :)
 

Intel, always have, always will :)

Intel produce far superior chip sets. AMD are always playing catch up nowadays IMO

ME TOO! I agree with Jimmy ;)
 
Intel, even the all powerful stable mac is using Intel now
but stay away of Intel atom - is not designed for high performance
AMD is a cost effective processor but is no intel, is good for gaming and other leisure activities, and if you overclock it and fry it is cheap to replace
 
I use Intel, for VirtualDJ Core 2 Duo is ok, nothing less.

Intel is harder to blow than AMD, so I feel safe with Intel, it's hard to burn your Intel processor, but AMD it's easy, so I stick with Intel All the way.

Ha ha ha ha.... LoL & Love'n it. No two of us will "run" or use VDJ in the same way so just "Do You" & don't forget about Night or Day??
