Hi Guys,
Im currently using the Numark total control unit, and i need an audio interface. Numark have recommended me the DJ IO... But i was wondering if anybody is using a cheaper alternative?#

The DJ I/O is the minimum you should get for proper performance and quality, when used with medium PA (small clubs, pubs, etc). As for cheaper cards, you might try Audigy or Terratecs, but IMHO the DJ I/O is better.
Or, you might find an ESI gigaport Maya44 at a price near the DJ I/O.
