Well, as far as the hardware is concerned, simply connect the microphone receiver to the MIC IN on the console, and turn up the volume.
Now, as far as using the microphone:
a) For Talk-Over
The Talk-Over button (MIC On/Off) on the Rmx works as follow:
- When ON, it takes the input signal from the microphone and sends it directly to the main output 1/2.
- At the same time, it enables the talkover attenuation and reduces the main output volume according to the setting in the Rmx control panel (-3, -6 or -9 dB) so the microphone can be heard over the music.
This button doesn't interact with VDJ or has any effect on the microphone beahviour inside any software.
b) for recording
- In the Rmx control panel, select MIC for INPUT CHANNEL 1-2
- In the recording software configuration select the Rmx as input source

I agree. You should be able to plug the mic receiver into the mic port and "go."
