Topic: one thing i don't know

由于该帖子已年深日久，可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

selecting a song in a player you need to drag and drop.(or use the hdc buttons).
can we make a shortcut for this.

i know that the enter will do this to but that is just a little different than what i mean...

BUT, you would at LEAST have to select a song that you wanted to play... right?
And when u have selected a song, its ONE button to push to load it to a deck... correct?

You have 2 different Hercules buttons - one load button for each deck
Or, pressing enter at keyboard

How would a shortcut (one key) make it "shorter"? You still would have to select your song...

you missed it...
what i mean is this.....now i have to stop one player first before loading a song,otherwise it will drop the new song into the playlist.

i don't wanna use the console...
and enter will drop it into the playlist...
now..you know what i mean?...

My mistake ;) it will put it in playlist if song is playing for sure

Maybe if there was a keyboard macro that could be :
1. stop song on deck 1.
2. load song from brownser

But the #2 dont excist i think

the console buttons will work, but you dont wanna use them u say ;)
 
yess...
in the future i wanna remove the hdc..so i need another shortcut for that.
all other key's are on my keyboard. only this can't be done..
maybe it's something for the "New features" topic...?

the keyboard shortcut you need for your wanted action ;)

Do this :
1. Add a keyboard shortcut to a key (say the letter "M), that STOP song in deck 1
(desk control > stop > deck 1)
2. Add a keyboard shortcut to the SAME LETTER, that opens a new song to deck1
(brownser > brownser open > deck 1 w/value 1)

Voila! ;) you got what u are looking for :)

I say it again.... keyboard macros is a powerfull tool :) for hidden "features" and possibilities of VDJ :)


If you want new song to AUTOPLAY, you can add another function to the same key (#3)... that starts playing the song... etc ;)
 



I tried adding the #3 to the same letter
- start playing song


damn ;) pretty cool function
ONE key stops old song, loads new, and starts playing it :)

so thanks to you too, djjb :) I got a new COOL keyboard shortcut now :)
