Topic: [NEW] Pandora's Box video plugin - Page: 2

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

Sorry, add-ons such as video effects are only available to registered licensed users who have purchased the full VirtualDJ Professional: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

Please register your Pro license on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html or purchase the software from the following page: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

NOTE: Plugins downloaded from unofficial and/or illegal sources are not supported and may also be old and out-of-date versions. These may have bugs and could cause the software to crash. Official plugins can be downloaded from http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/index.html once you have registered your license.

OK I am so getting tired of this. I have a licensed copy of Virtual DJ 7 for Mac. I just dealt with this for tech support too. I own a company with another DJ. We are an LLC. and we can not register both names on the software even though we have 2 machines with the program on it. I do not use hacked software on a $3000 Macbook Pro. If you don't want to answer my question that is fine, but there is no reason for me to buy two copies of the program just so both our online accounts can have a seperate serial#.

If you have one copy of the software on two computers, and are using it at the same time that’s against the user agreement licence with the software (if I am right). If so you would need two copys of the software and could register them both (one for one name one for the other).

You can install one copy on to two machines i.e. back up computer and gig computer , but you are not allowed to use them at the same time.

If you have two DJ's using the same software then this is a violation of the End User License Agreement (EULA): http://www.virtualdj.com/atomixproductions/disclaimer.html

VirtualDJ software licenses cannot be shared between multiple DJ's. You need to have a separate license for each DJ.

For further assistance, please contact support http://www.virtualdj.com/contact/index.html

1. PERMITTED USE AND RESTRICTIONS

You are granted one license to:
- install and use the Software on one computer.
- install and use the Software on a second computer, if this computer is normally used by the same person and the Software will not be used on both computers at the same time.
- make back-up copies of the Software for archival purposes.

This license does NOT allow you to:
- rent, lease, sell, lend, distribute, publish, bundle or sublicense the Software or any part of it.
- rent, lease, sell, lend or distribute hardware on which the Software is installed, unless specifically authorised by Atomix Productions.
- electronically transfer the Software from one computer to another or over a network.
- decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise reduce the Software to a human-perceivable form.
- modify the Software or create derivative works based upon the Software.

Yes I am aware. I will purchase a new and separate license as soon as I can. I mistakenly assumed that since we were an LLC registered business together that we could purchase a license for our shared business computer and keep a copy on our back up machine. Unfortunately I am the tech guy and the license is registered under his account not mine. I would still like to know how to properly install my plug-ins tho LOL

If you both share the SAME primary computer then this is OK and allowed by the EULA.

What is not allowed is you both using the software on two different computers (I.e: The other DJ goes to a gig with your primary computer. You then take the 2nd backup computer to another gig.) If you are not doing this, then you do not need to purchase another license.

If you do need to be able to do this, then you will need a second license for your other computer.

If you purchased the software for your DJ business, then both of you should have access to the registered account. You must already have access if you were able to download the effect.

To install an effect, simply copy the file EffectName.bundle to the appropriate folder:

MacintoshHD -> Users -> YOUR USER NAME -> Documents -> VirtualDJ -> Plugins -> VideoEffect

Or in new installations of VirtualDJ v7.0.3 or above:

MacintoshHD -> Users -> YOUR USER NAME -> Library -> VirtualDJ -> Plugins -> VideoEffect

Ok that is what I tried. Thank you for your answer, I can promise you I have no interest in pirated software on my brand new $3,000 Macbook Pro. Altho the Pandora Box Plug-in and the Video Effects 2 Plug-in do not seem to appear in VDJ after placing them either in the Plug-ins main folder or in the Video Effects folder. I even tried pulling them out of the folder they originally came in and just dropping the .dll and .ini files into the existing folders. Am I doing something wrong?

Ok before anyone answers I wanted to post an update, Pandora is now showing up after several restarts and looks amazing!! However the video effects pack I downloaded from VDJ still isn't showing up or active. Unfortunately I do not know what it was called, but I will list below some of the files contained within to hopefully help someone identify it correctly.

fugLumaBendMask
fugBlender
PeteBackDropKey
PeteColourReduce

They are Freeframe plugins - I've never checked personally if FF is supported in the Mac version.
