Would love to post music selections for everyone to see.. But I can't really put a title on my list as every night I perform is different. For example Can I tell music groups somehow to collect the music from sunday and put in my karaoke night file. And from wednesday night the retro file...
I guess I am not 100% on this music groups thing yet.
It seems submitting my whole playlist to the server would not help becuase the music on Saturdays at my weddings will be different than my music on Wednesdays at the bar (which is retro night)
Any input?

Hi dgreene,
at the moment it is not possible to select a musicgroup for a special session.
For example, if you are a feeder/admin for 2 different music groups, both goups receive the informations from your current set.
1)House
2)Urban
You can only disable the feed in VDJ, but then thre is no feed for both.
Maybe a good wish for the future ;-)

this has been one of the issues with music groups..... also difficult to keep a specific genre going if feeders play different types
It has been mentioned before.... from the onset I think
Not sure how it is going.. but we understand where you are coming from....Hopefully this will get sorted out.. but a matter of opinion i think it will have to be done from a site sort of thing and not from the software itself

Perhaps genres, if properly configured, could be sent to various music group feeds while you play. Problem is, genres can be subjective and so not very reliable.

I would be happy to tell virtual DJ before I start which set I am playing because this information benefits us all... If i could do this in a future version this would be great.
Even if we could go through the website and even be able to tell music groups to only listen for music on one day a week. Like Saturdays for me is always a wedding.
Just an idea.
Music Groups is a great idea if we the users could tell more about what we are sending to the database.
