yo whats good,
when i use my turntables and mixer with maya 44 usb and vdj on my laptop or on my computer with version 6.0.1, my config is as goes, inputs: timecodes Outputs: external mixer sound card: maya 44
heres my problem when im playing a track the track's sound is pitched up a bit and i really noticed the difference when i switched back to no input, single output and simple sound card and when i switch it back to use with turntables etc.. its pitched up again and when i switch it back to just virtual dj on its own its normal its really getting annoying although i like this version but this is really frustrating...
and ive tried sl tcv and vdj tcv but both of them are doing the same thing...

can someone itleast send me version 5.2 itleast that one has noisemap and it doesnt pitch up the sound for no reason

You should ask for support. Vdj support team are excelent, they have a very fast response.

i did ask but no one replied yet.. ill try one more time though i guess

I can check it out later with my setup but i have not heard of anything like that. I'm using a u46dj

I know it sounds dumb but you dont have key lock enabled or you have clear sound disabled, master tempo disabled. Just to rule out anything that might causing pitching.

@ TheTurk

you can find a copy of 5.2.1 in your download centre.

Listen2 i did all the things you just said and nothing changed haha weird, oh and Tayla i checked my download center, yes there is 5.2.1 but its for mac computer and i have a pc /:

i just figured it out, when im on relative mode the song gets pitched up but if im on smart relative the sound is normal... but i still find this weird i wonder if its cuz my turntables are so old hahaha i have Stanton STR8 - 50's lol

Wow.. thats strange. relative mode just take the "time" out of the signal, making the track play but not matter where the needle is on the TCV.

I always play in smart mode, so i can needle drop and the needle stays in place in the rare event of a skip.

Play a real 12" on one and TCV on the other in smart mode.. then see if you hear the pitching.

yes you're right i got the same results on relative mode using cdjmk3's......very strange and definitively a flaw.

after version 5.06 vdj timecode engine is pretty bad.......drifting like a motha $#@ i don't know what are they waiting for.....fix the damn thing!!!! other than that the program is flawless ;) ohh i forgot the karaoke zipped files also a big problem (no longer playing in new version)

yeah man your definately right they should fix it! thanks now i know im not alone ;) and yes other than that vdj is flawless

I have had the same problems, but only on one turntable. When both turntables are set to relative mode. This is what I have.
Virtual Vinyl Sound Card
Two Numark TTX turntables
Virtaul Dj 6.0.1
Serado Second Gen. TC
I have tried switching the TTX's to line out mode and changing the sound card to line in mode but no difference.
The right side's pitch even slows down with Virtual DJs Version 5 TC

So I use it in SMART ABSOLUTE mode and the problem is none existent.
I want to use relative mode so I can loop in and out.

Are you sure to understand the relative mode?
