OK Micheal is gone..... What will he be remembered for more? Having the best selling album of all time? His strange plastic surgeries? His Neverland ranch? His 2 acquittals for Child Molestation? His strange whiting skin? Which Micheal Jackson will be remembered....Micheal Jackson the King of Pop? or Wacko Jacko?

I talked to a guy the other day that was turning white, half pure white half pure black so it's defiantly true that it can happen naturally.
 
Ya, reckon both also.

I've also got a funny feelin' that we could be gettin' more requests for some of his tracks (as least in the near future).

Despite his abnormalities, definitely left some lively music behind him that always proved good at certain gigs.

Maybe so, but come on, do you really think it was natural in Michael Jackson's case???? Be honest!
 
Not detracting from what you're saying there Charlie but...there is no such thing as "pure" much less "half-pure" anything. People have been traveling and conquering civilizations for thousands of years, raping, robbing and pillaging each other since we were little amoeba swimming in the vast seas.

"Pure" blood is a fallacy.

I think he will be most remembered for his monkey chimp chimp he was dating.
 
He will be remembered for all the great songs a he sang. He is the only artist that is world known.. The best selling album and all the songs were # 1 hits. Huge concerts and many people fainting. The signature move he made and its used in break dancing.. The Moon walk. His dancing can never be duplicated. Even with all the issues in his life, many people are seeing beyond that. I play his songs in most of my gigs. Rest In Peace Mike.. 6-25-09 @}}------ 750 millions records sold world wide... You are the man..

MJ is the king of Pop - no questions - he gave his life to the entertainment industry and look how the media treated him. there will never be the character that Michael Jackson was ever again.
 
I gotta admit I was very surprised at the Polarizing comments posted on MJ's Facebook Fanpage, and on other forum boards I visit. Seems people are concentrating on his treatment of his (then) baby and the Child Accusations.

There are some very very nasty remarks out there. Seems people are taking this opportunity to vent personal issues.
 
The "Moonwalk" was invented in 1943 well b4 MJ "trademarked" it. Elvis wrote his own music & lyrics and made people swoon, male and female & could dance as good as MJ. Many fainted just at the mention of Elvis. He was & still is beloved around the world.

MJ ADMITTEDLY BEDDED YOUNG BOYS! HELLOOOOOOO!

He was a "POP Singer" not an "Artist" like Elvis or John Lennon or Prince who is still with us.

Poor Farrah Fawcett gets overshadowed by the "Gloved Pervert"

And yes I play his music, but I can separate the man from his music. BIG difference!

Michael revolutionised pop music. . .

biggest selling album of ALL TIME. . .

show some respect, true, his personal life was in the media too much. its simple, everyones knows and likes his music and thats what he should be remembered for.
 
I own every piece of music MJ ever put out. Have also played it and will continue to do so & played many even tonight, BUT the man & his music are two different things dude.

Do you guys remember a song "Girl You Know It's True" that shot to number one way back when by the Sensational duo named Milli Vanilli? Oh yeah, prob not 'cause after they were exposed as "Lip synchers" no one would ever play their songs again even though they were NUMBER ONE HITS!!!!

Frankly for what they did it was an amazing sham that fooled everyone & probably could never be repeated. The ultimate "PUNK'D" if you will.

Now MJ who again, and take a minute to digest this:

ADMITTEDLY SLEPT WITH YOUNG BOYS! And no I am not even saying he did anything with them sexually, but as an adult male you don't do that. Period. Exclamation point. End of story.

Respect MJ's music ALWAYS. Respect MJ the man, NEVER.

With all his money he should have hired a shrink instead of a chimp!







 
Why even start a post weighing in on his private life, if you don't approve of it, fine. Do you think he's guilty because he gave those families what they wanted originally which was M-O-N-E-Y? Why people who became rich off Micheal now suing him again for even more money?

He shouldn't be separated from his music, why? What you know is speculation at best or 2nd hand at the worst and he's guilty in the court of "Public Opinion". He wasn't convicted of anything, what's next you going to compare it to O.J getting away with murder?

The hating has already started and his body is barely cold, wow...

He is the KING OF POPULAR MUSIC, not much you can do about that is there?

I am afraid that once you are portrayed as an icon you open yourself up to public scrutiny,although i liked some of his music please don't try and state that the $18million payed out to the family was because they just wanted money. as the old saying goes, No smoke without fire.
 
I'm quite an MJ fan, not the biggest, but certainly i think his music was fabulous.

I reckon that no matter what you think of him on a personal level, you can't deny the fact that the man was a musical genius and made so many impressions to so many people on so many levels.

His legacy in music will live on for years to come I'm sure.

RIP MJ. May you have the peace in death that you did not have in life.
