i have the gemini cdm3600 can virtualdj be used with it?

You would need to buy a decent soundcard. If ur only starting out digitally don't go nuts. Look at the Maya 44 lots of pro's and cons on this but for starters it'll get the ball rolling. You'll also need to download the codec Cd's.

I'm also new, I notice you mention(codec Cd's) what is that for?
 
its for CD's to use on timecoded Cdjs...you download the info from this page...then u burn it onto your cd...stick it into the CDJ and it will be ready for timecode...but u need a sound card with 4 ins And 4 outs like the maya 44...when u control VDj thru your cdjs...i hope i explain myself....
