OK for some reason, the cue button has lost it's sensitivity with the new skin. With the old skin I was able to hit cue over and over and it would respond 99% of the time. Now it's like hit or miss. What gives? And what happened to the eq kill on the new skin. Love the look, not sure about the feel.
 
Not having the cue button problem here ... CUE or HOT CUE

As for the eq kill ... double right click on the knobs ...
 
Are you hitting it simultaneously? Seems like it misses every other time.

well i've gone and bit the bullit and bought version 6 goodbye pcdj vj
 
Cue button is definitely not as responsive as it was with 5.2.1.

Got the right click for eq kill.

Also, what if i want to deactivate my controller while VDJ is playing? I was able to do so with 5.2.1. Is there another way?
 
You should be able to untick the controller in the mapper window dropdown to disable it.

Just wondering about cue sensitivity. I like to use it as a stutter.
 
why doesnt my vdj respond unless my HD4500 is conneted? if i press play, nothing happens

Is HD4500 activated by mistake?
 
tried restarting my computer and everything. i had the same problem in vdj5 after i unhook my controller i would have to click amd then unclick "built in output" and i would be fine.... now its just frozen.. the buttons on vdj light up, just dont respond
 
@dat_boi_tj ... is this still the Mac Version ?? Please post those in the Mac Forums...

If it is the PC version ... do you disconnect it with VDJ open? And are you using the built-in soundcard of the 4500 as the soundcard? If so, then you need to change your sound card settings as you are no longer using what was previously set.
 
i dont remember is VDJ was still open... but i already switched the sound card option...

1. - Why ? It converts the database by 'copying' the v5 file in order to add the Unicode support

2. Keyboard shortcuts from v5 are automatically converted at install

3. What do you want to know ? Go to the Config -> Mapper tab and select the DAC-3 then scroll through each item and read what is assigned to the buttons .. it should be pretty close to the labels on the DAC

I did not do an upgrade. I do have the the database and shortcuts backed up.

Should I just do an upgrade and let VDJ 6 update the database and shortcuts?

For my DAC 3 I use the mapper.. I got used to it. I just need to change the items then do a back-up.
 
dOES ANY ONE KNOWS ID I CAN CONNECT THE NS7 TO VD6 YET?
AND HOW? I DONT SEE ANY WAY TO POSIBLY DO IT?
