ok, I am trying to convince my friend to get rid of MegaSeg and get VDJ. He does have some things that Im not sure if VDJ can do.
Example......
He puts a song in the playlist that someone requested and they asked him to "dedicate this song to..." So when the song comes up the window pops up and tells him what he wrote.
Also... he has a button he clicks on to auto crossfade to the other deck. Im guessing there is no way to add a button on the screen?
I might have more to ask but can someone tell me if tis can be done? I would love to move im to VDJ. I have been tinkering with it all day to try to find these answers.

As far as your first one about the adding request to the song, No VDJ cant do that, but the second one can happen as you can create a keyboard shortcut, or if you are using a midi controller, you can add a map to a button to do what you want.

you can write a note in comments ......"to lovely chlamydia , from the whole hockey team" or somesuch .....which will be on
the screen , but it won't be a popup
also in the free scrolling text plugins you can make announcements on screen which can scroll over a slideshow , visualizations
or video .......that's very useful
megaseg is MAC only
the free plugins are for licensed users .....also some vst plugins from outside sources do work ...i use a really excellent free semi parametric eq ....
if you purchase the software you can download the many skins for free ....some of the skins are truly GREAT , great feature sets ,
cool looks and designed by power users , some who are on the vdj radio station
the screen , but it won't be a popup
