I got one yesterday, very high quality piece of kit indeed. First thing I did was replace XP Home with XP Pro SP3 as the version that comes with it is even more watered down than normal home as it's a M$ special release for low cost netbooks.

Been testing today, because of the CPU being quite slow it takes longer to load songs and videos, could be an issue with longer tracks and megamixes etc but for normal audio and video it seems fine. I only use audio anyway so no problems there.

I'm running it with the Denon DN-HC4500 on Asio and no skips whatsoever. I noticed during load the CPU maxes out but playing music and video it is running about 70%.

It's an absolutely stunning piece of kit for £370, and because the screen res is 1280 x 800 I can use Matt's Vmix 5.4 skin as well.

Will let you know how I get on using it live tonight, hopefully it won't catch fire or anything :)

if you enable Master Tempo (Key Lock) with High sound quality how much cpu% is with two tracks playing at the same time?

I will have a try tonight and let you know.

My observations last night were that everything worked flawlessly on a 5 hour gig, 1 hour playing video (TMF Yearmix 2007)

Video is jerky when loading but perfect otherways. Audio plays fine but cueing etc slows down when loading.

Not a major problem for the 6 or so seconds it takes to load a track. I've got another gig in the same place tonight so will give it another go. Looks promising.

After a couple of nights gigging, it seems to work well. No use for video obviously, but for audio there's no problems.

Only issue is that things slow down a little bit during track loading as the CPU is at 100% but that doesn't affect the sound output. I am using Asio at 4ms on the DN-HC4500 controller.

For the price, size and weight of the item it's a superb netbook and the screen is bright and vibrant. Certainly good if you are only working a couple of nights a week and want something very portable.

Having keylock on makes no difference, not that I use it anyway.
