Topic: an effect or key to simulate RPM

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

is there a way to simulate switching turntable speeds in virtual dj?

For example:

I want the track to be playing normally, but when I click a button, the speed would drop to that of what it would be if I was to press the 33rpm speed on a 45rpm record.

Is there an effect or keypress I can use to simulate this action?

In Config - Options - Disc(right side down corner)

doesnt that just change the speed of which the graphical disc rotates and nothing to do with the actual sound?

I dont care what it does on the screen i never look at it, it want to be able to mimick the actual effect on the audio.

Actually I think it was an effect on the jogwheel and scratchwheel actions too. But no, it doesn't do what you want.

I haven't done the maths, but you could make a keyboard shortcut that will drop the pitch by about 25-30%? Doing so would mean your pitch range would have to be 33% at least (you could macro it) but the new range will obviously affect both decks. The value of the pitch change would probably need a value of around 400 with a range of +-33%.
