hi there im a trial user and i am finding it hard to use. i was using it ok yesturday but today if i load a track onto deck a then i have to switch the crossfader onto deck b to hear the song from deck a and vice versa. does anyone know why this is?

sounds like you have reversed your crossfader - somehow.
I would suggest adjusting the crossfader settings within CONFIG and see if that helps - else a re-install should fix the problem.

If you are using more than one sound card (Or a sound card with multiple outputs) for either headphone pre-listening or hook-up to an external DJ mixer, please check your sound setup (CONFIG -> Sound Setup) as well as your cable connections.
It sounds like you have your sound channels setup incorrectly (I.e: So master is headphones and vice versa, or if using an external mixer, channel 2 is channel 1 and vice versa.)
