My crossfader started to bleed channels last night, I ordered a new one but in the meantime, Anyone had any luck with lubricating the crossfader with dielectric grease?
I just need it to last until the replacement gets here

which crossfader? is it an alpha, alps or vestax fader? anyway. try to open the fader and clean/lube it with caig deoxit or pro-gold. than close the fader, he will be better than ever;-)

when my crossfader started to go i pulled it out ready for my relacement only to notice that the connection was not in properly! a small push later and it worked fine.

what mixer? the stock one on my urei scratch mixer was bad from when i opened the box, i then realized that the crossfader was the same fader as the line faders... so i switched them, absolutely no problems

i use CRC QD contact cleaner on my vestax mixer and my vci-300 work great
